Seeds per pack: 30–50 viable seeds Expected height: 18–24" tall, 24–36" wide at maturity Zones: USDA hardiness zones 3–9 (cold-hardy and dependable outdoors)

Care Tips

Sow seeds in moist, well-draining seed-starting mix. Keep in a warm, shaded spot with consistent moisture. Germination may take 14–30 days.

For Outdoor Planting: Once established, transplant outdoors in spring or fall. For the most intense blue coloration, plant in moderate to deep shade. While it can tolerate some morning sun, too much direct sunlight will cause the blue waxy coating to "melt" off, making the leaves appear greener. Mulch well to retain soil moisture. Hostas benefit from yearly compost and occasional slug protection in damp climates.

For Indoor Growing (less common for large Hostas but possible for short periods): If keeping indoors, place in a location with bright, indirect light. Ensure excellent drainage. Note that the full mature size and blue coloration are best achieved outdoors.
