Portulaca molokiniensis, commonly known as "Ihi" or the Petal Leaf Succulent, is a rare and visually striking plant native to coastal lava flows and sea cliffs of Hawaii. This succulent forms upright stems crowned with thick, rounded leaves arranged in a tight, symmetrical spiral. The foliage is smooth and green with a subtle waxy finish, resembling stylized flower petals stacked in a rosette form. Over time, it develops a branching habit and may produce small yellow flowers in warm, bright conditions.
